***UPDATE***
Definitely would not recommend using Erie for crawl space encapsulation!! They use inferior products and do NOT warranty their workmanship! After approximately 15 months, the barrier system that they installed started to fail. I called to discuss situation, and I was told they didn't guarantee their work or the products they install. The rep told me that he would talk with his boss and see what they could do to assist.
That was over 8 months ago!!! Still no word back from Erie.
Find another company for your encapsulation!!!
FYI - other companies use material that is 5-10x's thicker than what they used on our house.

Erie Environmental did both asbestos removal in my kitchen floor and mold remediation in my crawlspace for my home in Sandusky. Price was considerably less for the mold work than their competition. My crawlspace ceiling is now mold free and includes an 80 qt/day dehumidifier. I was pleased with the work and their customer service, however, in both instances something was amiss after both jobs. I contacted them after the fact and they made it right.

Crawl space remediation work was done on dates promised and completed on schedule. Was not present at the time. Had a neighbor open the house for them. Will not be able to review their work until Spring 2026. Photos sent to me by my neighbor show blue vapor barrerier used to encapsulate the crawl space. It should have been white.

I’ve used Erie Environmental in past and as always they did a great job. I had a black mold issue in the basement that came back because of a water leak I discovered. They treated the area, disinfected it then sealed all the walls with paint. I also bought a dehumidifier from them which they installed in the ceiling of the basement and ran the hose to my sub pump so I never have to empty it! Shout out to Caleb and his co worker( sorry I never got your name) did a great job, thanks guys!! Highly recommended this company!!

Had asbestos roof tile abated yesterday, 4/24/24, from a 2 story home.Mike was the supervisor. He made sure the crew worked safely and did a great job protecting the outside of the house. Cleanup was thorough. We were very satisfied with Erie’s work.
